In this 5-week Yoga philosophy series explore the first limb of Yoga’s eight-limb path with Austin yogi – Karlie Lemos.
“Practice becomes firmly grounded when well attended to, for a long time without break and in all earnestness.” -Patanjali
In one school of yoga philosophy: The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, the yoga journey is laid out as an eight-fold path. These eight limbs begin by examining our behavior and attitudes in relationship to Patanjali’s definition of yoga. We’ll examine the first tenet by considering our relationships with others. By contemplating our relationship with others we see how we relate to ourselves and these are the things that meditation is all about!
This offering is designed to change students lives by either seeing the yoga practice through a different perspective or by deepening the practice they already have in place. Each class will include discussion, breathwork, and mudra.
